Ylang Ylang

The Ylang Ylang is a plant of eastern origin which produces fragrant and sweet-scented yellow flowers in small bunches. The essence, extracted from the flowers, is used since ages for its refined scent which recalls warm and intense notes of exotic flowers and delicious fruits. 

In the Far East, where the care for body and spirit fuse in ancient rituals, it is known to have aphrodisiac and magic powers. The meaning of its name is “flower of the flowers” because, as well as its stimulating olfactory properties, when employed for beauty treatments, it gives splendour and glow to the skin.
